A description of BIT from Sue:
Building a foundation for your horse's education sets the stage for a confident
and reliable horse. Many horses are pushed too fast and too soon because they
show "potential". Consider the foundation I am referring to as the
horse's ABC's. With a solid foundation, the horse will then be able to go
on to refine his talents in the area that best suits him. A horse should look
forward to his work and be able to trust the people that work with him. In
this course, you will learn guidelines for a training program and how to tailor
it to each horse. Skills will be taught to better enable you to communicate
with your horse in a language he understands.
