The Sheep, Alpaca, and Llamas Have a New Look for Summer

The sheep are feeling great in their light weight summer coats. Plus, they are also happy to "pay it forward" by donating their wool to good causes. Their wool has been given to a local museum and to local fiber artists. The wool can be used for demonstration purposes, or will be cleaned, spun into yarn, and knitted and woven into soft, warm, clothing or accessories.

Previous year's wool has been knitted into hats, scarves, and sweaters that were auctioned off at our annual Autumn Fundraiser. This year, the 5th Annual Silent and Live Auction will be held on September 18th. Mark your calendars for the event to purchase some of these home-grown and lovingly hand-made items!
